Our handwoven baskets are created by women in Singida, Central Tanzania.
They are woven with natural grasses that grow abundantly in the area. The grass is harvested, dried, dyed and woven by the makers. Basket weaving provides a sustainable income for the women supporting their families, homes and small scale farms.
