A Kanga carries great significance, as it marks the rhythm of Swahili life even from birth.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOur Mombasa Khanga are all direct trade from Mombasa Kenya through our partner fabric store in Uhuru street, Dar es Salaam Tanzania.  The Maasai Shuka panels are a mix of patterns in a complimentary colourway. We have repurposed the Maasai Shuka offcuts from our other projects. Once sewn together the piece has been backed in a lush soft bamboo and cotton batting and quilted together. The blanket is then 3 layered, warm and soft. It features handmade cotton tassels.
